The Deeves

For retro rock and roll band The Deeves, I designed two distinct black-and-white album covers that visually echo their vintage-meets-modern sound.

Lo-Fi Modern Way

Inspired by Trevor’s live amp, this concept revolves around the idea of a portable music box. I photographed the actual amp and used it as the core visual—its front becomes the album’s front cover, and the back panel of the amp becomes the back cover. It’s a nod to analog gear and gritty live energy, packaging their music as something raw, transportable, and real.

Both designs create a cohesive identity for The Deeves—modern edge meets vintage cool. Surf’s up!

The Deeves – Self-Titled Debut

This release keeps things minimal and bold. The front features the band’s graphic logo, while the back captures a moody black-and-white image of the full band—including Trevor (guitar/lead vocals), Del (drums/backing vocals), and their supporting keyboard and bass players. The stripped-back aesthetic matches the band’s retro surf-rock vibe, pairing timeless style with a fresh visual punch.
