Broad Street Brewing

Broad Street Brewing is a craft beer startup that needed a bold, authentic brand identity to match its small-town roots and big flavor. I was brought in to develop the visual branding from the ground up, including logo design, color palette, typography, and packaging concepts. In addition to the branding work, I also designed and built the website, giving the brewery a strong digital presence to promote their story, showcase their beer lineup, and attract local customers.

The branding draws heavily from vintage Americana aesthetics, with strong typography and hand-textured elements to emphasize the brand’s character and craftsmanship. A key design element was the use of woodgrain textures in the beer labels. This was a direct nod to the brewery’s custom-imported oak casks from England—an integral part of their brewing process and a unique detail that set them apart. Mimicking the look of these barrels in the labels helped create a tactile, story-rich visual experience that tied the product directly to the brewing tradition and atmosphere of the pub itself.
